Why come to Costa Rica?

Costa Rica will give you a first hand look at what missions, church planting, and discipleship looks like in a culture that straddles the changing cultures of the Americas in a diverse landscape. This experience will allow you to interact with church planters who have experienced the struggles and joys in Central America, as well as other areas of the world. Missions Academy: Costa Rica will grow your understanding of the Mission of God and your role in it. This 8-day journey will give you opportunities to grow in the Gospel of Jesus by observing Costa Rican churches, engaging in thought-provoking conversations, and learning in an interactive group dynamic. Come to the front lines of Costa Rica for this one-of-a-kind short-term experience.

    Morning – Attending Church Service at Roca Viva Church
    Afternoon – Get to know Costa Rica
    Evening – Orientation and Missio Dei, God on Mission

  • Day 3 / Monday: 10th

    Morning –  Community Outreach Project
    Afternoon – Cultural Training
    Evening – Bible Training

  • Day 4 / Tuesday: 11th

    Morning –  Community Outreach Project
    Afternoon – Cultural Training
    Evening – Bible Training

  • Day 5 / Wednesday: 12th

    Morning – Rain Forest Adventure
    Afternoon – Tico Cultural Experience
    Evening – Night of Prayer and Worship

  • Day 6 /  Thursday: 13th

    Morning –  Community Outreach Project
    Afternoon – Cultural Training
    Evening – Bible Training

  • Day 7 / Friday: 14th

    Morning –  Community Outreach Project
    Afternoon – Bible Training
    Evening – Farewell Party

  • Day 8 / Saturday: 15th

    Depart for Home
